Terms and Conditions

Advance booking and payment for all activities is essential. Climbing in the LakesA deposit is required to secure an activity booking. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of the client cancelling the booking, or any part thereof.

The final balance will be payable 35 days before the event.  Bookings less than £75 in value to be paid in full. If payment is not received by the due date, Pleasure in Leisure Ltd reserve the right to cancel the booking if they so wish. An administration fee of £10 will be levied for every reminder sent by post or email, or telephone call reminder made, after the due date.

Cancellations after the final balance is due will incur the full fee. Any amendment to the booking after confirmation will attract an administration fee of £5 per person minimum. For group bookings, the person making the booking confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions by everyone in their party. It is also their responsibility to obtain signed consents from the parent or guardian of all under 18 year olds in their party.

Cub Karts

Relevant details e.g. location details, timings and suggested kitlists will be sent to the client when Pleasure in Leisure Ltd confirms the booking, together with Invoice showing both the non-refundable deposit paid, the final balance amount and the date by which the final balance must be paid. There will be an administration fee of £10 for supplying duplicate copies of confirmation details.

All clients of Pleasure in Leisure Ltd undertake all activities and courses at their own risk and we do not accept any liability howsoever arising from injury or death to any person, or damage or loss to their belongings or goods.

Full details of any medical problems, telephone numbers and names of next of kin (to be used in the event of an emergency) are to be made available to the instructors before commencement of activities.

Argocat in the Lake DistrictSchool Groups, Scouts, Guides and all Youth Groups are responsible for producing Medical Forms on site if required. Other under 18s must either be accompanied by a parent/guardian or have written consent from their parent/guardian giving permission for them to participate in their chosen activity/activities.

All the ‘experts’ carry Public Liability Insurance. You might find it useful to know that you may contact Harrison Beaumont on 0870 121 7590 to ask for a quote for personal accident and curtailment for activities arranged by Pleasure in Leisure Ltd if required. You may of course feel free to make your own arrangements for personal accident and curtailment insurance if you so wish.

Quad Bike - CumbriaPleasure in Leisure Ltd are acting as Agents only for all activities, courses, events and bookings. They cannot be held responsible for any arrangements resulting from Act of God, riot, civil commotion, strikes or restraint of labour of any type. Whilst every effort will be made by Pleasure in Leisure Ltd to ensure the accuracy of all bookings, they cannot be held responsible for any acts or omissions of the instructors, guides, transport companies, hotels, animals or any other providers.

As per the EC Directive, deposits and final balances for all ‘package bookings’ will be held in a Special Clients Account until after the event has been completed.

A surcharge of 3% to cover our costs will be levied for payment by credit card – no charge for payment by Switch or Debit Card.

Special note for Stag & Hen Party Groups. It is a fact of life that very occasionally, a member of a Stag or Hen Party group will ‘wet’ a bed or be ‘poorly’ after too much to drink. Please be aware that you will be charged for laundering all items if this is the case – cost approximately from £60. Any damage to property, furnishings etc. by any of your party will be charged to you
